Svea & Gone

This piece features an unusual white factory (compared to the sea of red brick mills in the area) and is from the Svea Grain & Coal Co. in New Britain, CT which has long been abandoned. My mixed media pieces are an alchemy of paints, papers, pastels, pencils, inks, stains and vintage ephemera to enhance the photographic images I have captured. A unique, vintage-inspired piece of original contemporary art.
