Western Romance, 24" x 18"

The first in a series on romance on the western frontier inspired by the old pulp western dime novels from the 1930s-1950s.  This mixed media painting layers vintage ephemera/documents from the early to mid 1900s with acrylic paints, inks and a vintage b/w image  to create a unique and vintage inspired piece of western contemporary art.

Specifications:
• measures 24"T x 18"W x 1.5"D
• original work on cradled wood with open back
• sides are varnished natural wood; backside titled/signed with artist info
• sealed with a hardened resin-like coating and topped with a protective matte varnish
• wired and ready to hang, no framing needed
